Antares Nuclear has signed a multi-year enrichment services agreement with General Matter to supply High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) for Antares microreactors. The agreement strengthens a critical and capacity-constrained link in the U.S. advanced nuclear fuel supply chain.
The agreement covers several metric tons of HALEU, with deliveries expected to begin this decade from General Matter’s planned enrichment facility in Paducah, Kentucky. Domestically enriched uranium will support Antares microreactor deployments for critical defense and commercial applications, as previously announced.
“General Matter is building new American enrichment capacity, and we’re proud to partner with them,” said Jordan Bramble, CEO and Co-founder of Antares. “This HALEU agreement strengthens our ability to secure the fuel needed to power critical missions for our customers.”
The agreement further strengthens Antares’ domestic fuel supply chain. General Matter joins Antares’ growing portfolio of fuel partners, advancing Antares’ strategy to build a resilient and diversified fuel supply network for its microreactor deployments.
